First Challenge:

Limiting Procedural Violations and Failures During Digital Court Sessions.

Description:

Digital court sessions may experience procedural violations or omissions, such as overlooking certain regulatory requirements or bypassing necessary formal steps, which affect the integrity of the case process and ultimately lead to procedural violations.

Objective:

Improve the quality of digital court sessions through solutions capable of proactively detecting and alerting procedural risks, ensuring the correctness of procedures, minimizing errors that impact case progress, and enhancing the speed and efficiency of judicial work.

Second Challenge:

Diversity and Volume of Case Registration Requests and Their Impact on Initial Screening Speed.

Description:

The Operations Center faces a high volume of requests with diverse subjects and classifications, which increases the time required for initial screening and affects the speed of referral to the relevant department.

Objective:

Enable the Operations Center to analyse and classify requests more quickly and accurately, accelerating the case lifecycle and improving the efficiency of initial registration.

This track aims to enhance the beneficiary experience through flexible digital solutions that support decision-makers, simplify procedures, and accelerate access to justice with smoother and more efficient services.

Facilitating the Verification of Document Completeness When Filing a Case.

Description:

Beneficiaries face difficulties verifying their documents before submission, which leads to rejected applications, processing delays, and sometimes the need to share their data with others.

Objective:

Enable beneficiaries to instantly know the status and deficiencies of their documents, with proactive alerts to improve application quality and reduce delays.

Second Challenge:

Facilitating Digital Access for People with Disabilities and the Elderly.

Description:

Some groups face challenges using digital systems due to disabilities, advanced age, or complex interfaces, limiting their independence in completing transactions.

Objective:

Develop advanced digital accessibility solutions—such as simplified interfaces, dedicated pathways, and assistive tools—to enable people with disabilities and the elderly to use judicial services easily and independently while preserving their privacy.

Is attendance mandatory for the participating team?

Yes, the entire team is required to attend the hackathon throughout its duration. Attendance is a fundamental condition for eligibility.

No, but the team leader must be a Saudi national.
Yes, changes to the idea, team leader, and team members are allowed before the registration deadline.
Yes. Each team must have 3 to 5 members.
Yes, each team can submit multiple ideas.
Ideas can be presented in either Arabic or English.
No, travel tickets and accommodation will not be provided.

The process begins with registration, followed by a review of all applications. Selected teams will be announced and invited to attend online briefing sessions prior to the onsite hackathon. Teams will then submit their final projects during the event.
